Manufacturers say smoking or “vaping” e-cigarettes is healthier because the mist is basically water vapor and doesn’t contain tobacco smoke’s toxins. E-cigarettes wean smokers off tobacco and are cleaner than conventional cigarettes since they leave no residue behind, they say.
But the county Human Resources Department wants to ban e-cigarettes in county buildings because “questions about the impact (of e-cigarettes) on public health, safety and welfare, have raised important concerns about their use,” according to a staff report.
It just keeps going. When are people going to get real info and start understanding that ecigarettes are NOT tobacco cigarettes? It's a no-brainer but they just keep adding bans. This isn't helping our cause. It takes a "village" and we are going to have to get out there and educate people. Blogs, blogs and more blogs! It might take a real study by a reputable organization to quell the fears. Nevertheless, we move on, we keep fighting. This is the future of smoking. It's not about kids, it's not about keeping people addicted.
It's about providing flavors ADULTS like and providing an option for people who were NOT ABLE TO QUIT TOBACCO CIGARETTES ANYWAY!
